Welcome to Parliament Hill Fields Lido Café, a true gem nestled within the idyllic surroundings of Parliament Hill Fields in London. This charming café, boasting a delightful setting beside the historic lido, is a sanctuary not just for swimmers but for anyone seeking a delicious bite and a welcoming atmosphere.

At the Lido Café, the menu is brimming with delightful options that cater to all ages and preferences. For those looking to indulge in something special, the daily changing Malaysian lunch specials are a must-try, offered at an appealing £8.00. Imagine the tantalizing flavors of a beef noodle salad, as raved about by one satisfied customer, Justine Solomons. Kids will also find plenty to love, with cheerful options like creamy mac & cheese, comforting soup and bread, and a fun falafel plate, all priced affordably, ensuring a happy and satisfying meal.

The regular menu showcases a wonderful array of breakfast and brunch selections, perfect for fueling up after a swim or a stroll in the park. Picture sinking your teeth into perfectly crisp sourdough toast slathered with local honey or a vibrant avocado and tomato toast that’s as good for the soul as it is for the palate. For something heartier, consider the crispy bacon and avocado on sourdough toast—a classic, with a touch of indulgence, only at £6.00. And for those who love seafood, the smoked salmon with eggs on sourdough toast brings a taste of luxury without breaking the bank.

The atmosphere here is relaxed yet vibrant, with the charm of local community buzzing around. Lively music fills the air early in the day, creating an energetic ambiance that complements the café's unique edge, as highlighted by Lamorna Ash in her review. You can expect efficient service from a friendly team that genuinely cares about your experience, which Finn H appreciated amidst the café's busy lunchtime rush.

What truly sets the Parliament Hill Fields Lido Café apart is its connection to the local culture. It’s not merely a place to grab a bite; it's a part of the community. The café also showcases art exhibitions, allowing visitors to immerse themselves not just in food, but in local creativity, reinforcing its appeal beyond just a typical café experience—a feature that Justine Solomons found particularly enchanting.

So, whether you’re taking a post-swim coffee break, enjoying a leisurely lunch, or grabbing a quick snack after a sun-soaked day on the lido, the Lido Café is a warm and inviting spot. With friendly faces like Emma, Elodie, Alessio, and Remy ready to serve, you are ensured a delightful experience every visit. Don't miss out on this slice of paradise in the heart of London.

Emma, Elodie, Alessio, Remy and the rest of the team are amazing. Best coffee, Delicious food, great selection of swim/gift stock. The weekly specials a highlight - had the most brilliant beef noodle salad last week. Love the art exhibitions too. A wonderful cafe at our darling Lido xxx

Perfectly good flat white. Staff ok with me. Not sure about all the negative comments - service was pretty standard for a London coffee shop. The pastries did look excellent, I didn’t try them but a big selection of morning goodies available. Drank my coffee outside overlooking the Heath on a glorious sunny day. Probably not the easiest place to run profitably so happy to support if I find myself on the Heath in need of coffee

Anyone complaining about the service needs to relax a bit. It’s a super busy caf next to a swimming pool & a massive park. It’s very busy and they’re doing their best. When they call for who’s next, be ready! The queue moved very quickly and I was very pleasantly surprised how delicious and fresh my food was. I got a salad box with 3 falafels (£7.50) and chips (£4) I thought it was great value and a good portion.

The Lido, and the heath more generally, can be almost too idyllic, too perfect. You need a cafe with a bit of edge to set the whole thing off. I love that the staff play Charli XCX and Billie’s Guess at 7am, that they are efficient but never obsequious, that they are pointedly cool in a totally unhampstead way. It’s the best cafe ever.

This little paradise never disappoints! Friendly staff, good food and snacks, even some French delicacies for sale. I always get a hot drink there after a cold swim and love this place! Thank you to the team there

This one of my favourite places to have a weekday lunch special, after a swim. The specials menu is great. The standard Hoxton Beach menu items are reliably delicious too. Often has great selection of seasonal fruit and excellent bread to take home.
